Adolescent Health Systems Capacity Assessment
OSAH conducted an Adolescent Health System Capacity Assessment within the NM Department of Health in May 2006. Key findings can be viewed in the report using the above link.
Adolescent Health Strategic Plan 2008-2010
The strategic plan includes goals and objectives regarding the six key areas in the capacity assessment and positive youth development.
Adolescent Health Data Report 2008
The NM Adolescent Health Data Report 2008 was developed to provide a comprehensive overview of adolescent health needs in a variety of health areas and is a companion document to the Adolescent Health Strategic Plan.
School-based Health Centers Status Report 2009
Youth Risk and Resiliency Survey (YRRS)
The New Mexico Youth Risk and Resiliency Survey is a survey of public high school students (grades 9-12) and public middle school students (grades 6-8). The survey includes questions about risk behaviors which are behaviors contributing to unintentional injury; behaviors associated with violence; mental health, suicidal ideation and suicide attempts; alcohol, tobacco and drug use; sexual activity; and physical activity, nutrition, and body weight, and resiliency (protective) factors.For more information on reports and data related to school and adolescent health-- please contact our office.
