REGIONAL STAFF

New Mexico is divided into 5 public health regions. School Health Advocates (SHAs) and School Mental Health Advocates (SMHAs) are assigned to each of the health regions. SHAs and SMHAs are available to collaborate with school and district level health providers to ensure that health systems of care are in place, research based practices are used, and students are healthy and ready to learn.
